Stop & Chat is a weekly discussion post here at Read. Sleep. Repeat. where we talk about what ever tickles my fancy!
This weeks’ Stop & Chat post sprouted from a old saying my granny always threw at me:
If I would have known then, what I know now.
While I love blogging and have no regrets about it in the least there are a number of things I wish I could have maybe done differently. So I wrote all of them down and here are my top 3!
- Schedule in advance!
For some ridiculous reason I thought blogging was easy and I would have all the time in the world to type up those “little” post. WRONG!
- When it comes to Netgalley and Edleweiss proceed with CAUTION!
My 1st experience with Netgalley was very simple. I requested 2 books and miraculously got approved for both. That was my downfall. It was so easy I went grabby hands the next day and completely forgot that an ARC/DRC is NOT free! You pay for it by bumping it ahead of personal reads and getting a review back promptly.
- Always make fun your priority.
I’ve told you all my numbers story, so you know how important this is to me now. Blogging is my hobby 1st, and hobbies are meant to be fun!
What have you learned during your blogging time that you wish you would have know before?
