Stacking the Shelves is a meme hosted at Tynga’s Reviews where we can showcase the books we bought, borrowed or received for review.
The past couple of weeks have been busy! Octavia’s birthday was on the 29th so she received a bunch of stuff. I have no excuse for all the books I bought but I REGRET NOTHING! My school had a used book sale as well so I ended up getting 3 books for under $5!
The Bad Beginning by Lemony Snicket
Ask Again Later by Liz Czukas
Confessions of Georgia Nicholson by Louise Rennison
The Theif Lord by Cornelia Funke
Better Off Friends by Elizabeth Eulberg
The Future of Us by Jay Asher and Carolyn Mackler
Daughter of Smoke & Bone by Laini Taylor (for an upcoming signing!)
Library Books:
Code Name Verity by Elizabeth Wein
The Runaways by Brian K. Vaughan (issues #1-18)
In addition to all these books, I got a Batman Mighty Wallet. Mighty Wallets are these really slim but very convenient wallets that can actually fit in my pocket. They’re not the cheapeast ($15) but they are also water-proof and made out of 100% post-consumer recycled material. Needless to say, I am in love with mine.
This week was my birthday! And I’m very lucky to have some amazing friends who helped me celebrate in the best way possible…WITH BOOKS! So this week:
I was gifted
Vicious by V.E. Schwab (THANKS NIKKI!)
In The After by Demetria Lunetta (THANKS SHELLY!)
The Collector by Victoria Scott (THANKS SHELLY!)
Mistborn By Brandon Sanderson BOXED SET! (OMG!! THANK YOU NIKKI!)
I bought
Cold Fury by T.M. Goeglein (found at a discount store for 1.99!)
Fire by Kristin Cashore (also found at the discount store for 1.99!)
Half Bad by Sally Green (got for free thanks to the B&N settlement thingy!)
I also dropped by the library on my birthday since I was already by it and snagged these lovelies that I truly don’t have time to read but am going to find a way!
Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell
Defiance by C.J. Redwine
Paper Valentine by Brenna Yovanoff
Don’t Turn Around by Michelle Gagnon
Mila 2.0 by Debra Driza
The Last Academy by Anne Applegate
And finally a few ARC’s I’m very grateful for. And that will hopefully give me the kick in the tush needed to buckle down on my Series Challenge!
