Yeah this was pretty much me the entire 354 pages of Murder of Crows. AKA one of the best fantasy books I’ve ever read. And yes I know how dramatic that sounds but I sincerely mean every bit of that.
Murder of Crows starts off just a few months after Written in Red, and things are slowly starting to shift and build and change for Meg in The Others courtyard. But even with Meg settling in and The Others growing affection for her the world is still suffering from the “sickness” that we saw in Written in Red.
I’ve been struggling to write this review for over 2 weeks. I want to show you all how much I loved it, how well it was written, why I think you should grab it and how sure I am that you’re going to love the series. But I can’t and I’ve decided that’s ok. I’ve seriously freaked and stressed myself out about this review and I’m over it. I’m not going to review every book I read and even though I thoroughly LOVED Murder of Crows I’m not going to put myself through this craziness. The bottom line is the book was well written, the characters were completely mind-blowing and the plot was INSANE. There are no icky love triangles or crazy inner monologuing. The bad guy isn’t what you anticipate and in the end justice is so much more than your mind could ever imagine.
