Ah Thanksgiving is this week and I can already smell the food! Shelly, my beautiful Canadian co-blogger celebrated Thanksgiving last month, but it’s never a bad time to say what we’re thankful for right?!
This picture says a lot about what I’m thankful for. These unbelievable ladies have been some of the best friends I could have ever hoped to gain in any life time. They’ve been there during my crazy rants, bookish highs and lows, family issues, and even sick days. These ladies have been my rocks. My confidants. My favorite people to talk to. I have no idea how I was fortunate enough to have such amazing women come into my life but I am forever grateful for their love, support, and nonstop bookish recs!
And this little lady. Some days I look at her and can’t believe this crazy little lady is mine! Then she opens her mouth and the proof is in the pudding! This kid drives me absolutely nuts some days but it’s the kind of nuts you wouldn’t trade for all of the money in the world. I’m so proud and thankful to have her in my world and no matter what we’ve been through within the past year or so we’ve come out stronger.
And then there is this entire community. Some days I want to yell at the stupid drama I see but I know that the majority of you are good bookish people who just want to share your literary love with the world. And if that’s not something to be thankful for than I’m missing the whole point of this!
I agree with Octavia! I’m so thankful for all the friends I’ve made through blogging. I’m so thankful for all of your support and love for the both of us! I’m also super thankful for Octavia, for allowing me to join her on here and for quickly becoming one of my best friends. <3
